Instrument Valves is a piping accessory. It is a device used to change the path section and the medium flow direction to control the flow of the transport medium. Specifically, instrument valves have the following uses:
(1) Turn on or cut off the medium in the pipeline. Such as gate valve, globe valve, ball valve, plug valve, diaphragm valve, butterfly valve and so on.
(2) Adjust and control the flow and pressure of medium in the pipeline. Such as throttling valves, regulating valves, pressure reducing valves, safety valves, etc.
(3) Change the direction of medium flow in the pipe. Such as distribution valve, three-way cocks, three-way or four-way ball valve.
(4) Prevent the medium in the pipeline from flowing backwards. Such as a variety of different structure of the check valve, bottom valve and so on.
(5) Separation medium. Such as various types of steam traps, air traps, etc.
(6) Indicate and adjust the liquid level. Such as liquid level indicators, level regulators and so on.
(7) Other special purposes. Such as temperature control valve, over-current protection emergency shut-off valve.
